Mission 1-1
Turmalis
En Taro Adun, Executor. I am Judicator Turmalis. I have been sent to inform you of the recent loss of contact with the province of Antioch, the once-home of Praetor Fenix. Scouts inform us that a psionic dead zone has been blocking all communication into or out of the province.
Mission 1-1
Turmalis
This field appears to have no ill effect on our troops, however without adequate communication, it is impossible to determine the status of our forces inside the province itself. Observer patrols report sporadic Zerg sightings in the outlying areas.
Mission 1-1
Turmalis
Your first task will be to reconnoiter the Antioch outlands and subsequently establish a working outpost in the area. If there are indeed Zerg nearby, we must know as soon as possible. We await your report.
Mission 1-2
Turmalis
En Taro Adun, Executor. It appears as though our suspicions were correct. Our forces in Antioch have been once again overrun by the Zerg. You must lead a detachment of our strongest warriors to free our brethren and liberate the temple located in the heart of the province.
Mission 1-2
Turmalis
Joining you on this mission will be the twin warriors Khorun and Nurohk, who have fought side by side even after a fatal blow forced Nurohk to take up residence within the cold shell of a Dragoon.
Mission 1-2
Turmalis
Though our resources have been spread thin, it is our belief that you should be able to rout the invading Zerg with a minimum of difficulty. Our scouts will continue to assess the situation in the surrounding areas while you conduct the rescue. Go now, and leave no Zerg to flee elsewhere.
Mission 1-3
Turmalis
I'm afraid I bring bad news. Although your victory has granted our forces a brief reprieve, we still have been unable to determine the source of the psionic dampening field that continues to surround Antioch -- and though you are currently our only link to the province, we must, in spite of the risk, turn your attention to a more urgent matter.
Mission 1-3
Turmalis
The Zerg have begun to encroach upon the Temple of Jepok, to the south of Antioch, long an important center of psychic attunement for the Templar caste. Contact with Jepok was lost a mere two days ago... but we are assuming the worst.
Mission 1-3
Turmalis
You will take a small contingent south toward the Temple. If our forces there are still intact, aid them in whatever manner you deem fit, and push back the invading Zerg -- but protect the Temple at all costs. If it were to fall, Antioch would soon follow. See to it that it does not.
Mission 1-3
NANNOTH/TAERADUN
Executor! Khorun! Nurohk! En Taro Adun!
Mission 1-3
KHORUN
Nannoth? Taeradun? How... how can it be?
Mission 1-3
NANNOTH/TAERADUN
How can it NOT? Yes, my young warrior, it is we.
Mission 1-3
NUROHK
But I thought --
Mission 1-3
NANNOTH/TAERADUN
No matter what you thought! The Khala's path has lead us where few others dare go.
Mission 1-3
KHORUN
We come to aid your fight with the Zerg.
Mission 1-3
NANNOTH/TAERADUN
So be it, then. As is plain to the untrained eye, we have been surrounded for days. Only recently have the attacks begun to slow, barely allowing us the time to rebuild.
Mission 1-3
KHORUN
Archives?
Mission 1-3
NANNOTH/TAERADUN
Lost in the last attack. What is worse, we have felt a vague draining of energies, as if some presence were suppressing our psionic link. We still have much left to do, but with your help, we WILL push back and obliterate these abominations.
Mission 1-3
NANNOTH/TAERADUN
Executor... a thought. If we were to fortify the plateau above, near the pillars, with Shield Batteries and Photon Cannons, it might allow us more breathing room.
Mission 1-4
NANNOTH/TAERADUN
My gratitude to you, Executor. Jepok will continue to stand as a beacon of light for the Templar, thanks to you and your comrades' bravery in the face of encroaching darkness.
Mission 1-4
Turmalis
Enthusiasm is very touching, and we are all extremely pleased to know you are among us once again -- Nannoth, Taeradun -- but I'm afraid the Executor's business is far from finished. If what our scouts tell us is fact, then there will be more than enough coming ""darkness"" to keep us all on our guard.
Mission 1-4
Turmalis
Executor, one of our long-range reconnaissance parties has detected a massive cluster of Zerg forces to the west. Scouts reported a weakening of shield energies commensurate with increasing physical proximity to the cluster's heart. The few Observers that reached the heart before losing power relayed images of a large cocoon in the center of the hive. We believe this cocoon itself to be the source of the psionic drain.
Mission 1-4
Turmalis
Now, if memory serves, the Terrans dabbled extensively, though crudely, in the harnessing of psychic energies. Before being called back to defend Aiur from invasion, our fleets detected a small Terran outpost, on the surface of Char, emitting strong psionic carrier waves.
Mission 1-4
NANNOTH/TAERADUN
And why has the Conclave ignored this settlement?
Mission 1-4
Turmalis
At the time, other concerns pressed us. Now, however, that outpost may hold the key to countering whatever power the Zerg have been gaining over our forces.
Mission 1-4
Turmalis
Executor, you will lead an expedition to the surface of Char to pinpoint the location of the Terran settlement. I will be joining you on this mission to oversee your progress. With any luck, we may find some of the answers to this mystery.
Mission 1-4
NANNOTH/TAERADUN
Khorun and Nurohk will stay with us at the Temple to guard it from further attacks. Go with strength, Executor, and may Adun watch over you.
Mission 1-4
MOX
Wait -- hold your fire! Looks like we've got company of a different sort, for a change.
Mission 1-4
TURMALIS
Identify yourself, human.
Mission 1-4
MOX
Name's Mox, Charlie Mox, commander of the Char Psi Reserve. And you would be?
Mission 1-4
TURMALIS
Judicator Turmalis of the Protoss High Command. We seek to identify the source of the psychic carrier waves emanating from these coordinates.
Mission 1-4
MOX
Well, if our ESP boys aren't the source of it, you must be talkin' about the old underground Morian mining and research facility to the southeast, not much more than a stone's throw from here.
Mission 1-4
TURMALIS
I assume the source of the psionic emanations may be found within the installation itself?
Mission 1-4
MOX
Oh, sure. The only reason we haven't checked it out is the swarm of Zerg keepin' the airlock company. Whole lot of the buggers got the place packed in tighter than a joey in a wallaby's pouch. But, uh, if you ever got your hands on whatever it is that's causin' those waves, I'm sure our scientists could take a look at it.
Mission 1-4
TURMALIS
Very well, but we WILL require heavy escort.
Mission 1-4
MOX
Right, well, Gurney here's my second-in-command. His squad's been through a lot, but he's the best there is -- ain't that right, Gurney?
Mission 1-4
GURNEY
Long as there's plenty of beer.
Mission 1-4
MOX
No worries. So, uh, you up for it, mate?
Mission 1-4
TURMALIS
Agreed. We will hold position here until your forces are ready.
Mission 1-4
TURMALIS
I see you have constructed this outpost around the remains of an inactive volcano.
Mission 1-4
MOX
Yeah, Mt. Midnight, we like to call it. We're tapping the core, using it as a geothermal power source. Makes a great hobby for our scientists, too.
Mission 1-5
Mox
The task is simple, Executor
Mission 1-5
MOX
I'll be damned. Telepaths on ice. This ain't a mining base... They were gearin' up for something big, Ghosts in cold storage. But... why the psi emitter? Why lure the Zerg here? Just doesn't fit. Maybe the boys on the hill can make sense of it.
Mission 1-6
Turmalis
Well done, Executor. Once the commander's scientists have examined the emitter, we may be able to modify the device to act as a field disruptor, in order that we may counter the Zerg dampening field at the source.
Mission 1-6
Turmalis
While you have been working, the commander's forces have withstood repeated attacks from continually advancing waves of Zerg. Unfortunately, sensors at the base have detected a massive Zerg swarm to dwarf all previous attacks headed for our position. Within a matter of minutes, every escape route will be closed.
Mission 1-6
Turmalis
I have not been idle, however, during your absence. As we speak, three shuttles of Protoss warriors and an escort of our fastest scouts, spared from Aiur's defenses, have already made their way past the enclosing blockade and will be landing at the outpost momentarily.
Mission 1-6
Turmalis
In addition, a still larger fleet assembles, even now, in high orbit over the planet. We must hold out long enough for our brethren to arrive in force. Return with the emitter to the Terran camp, Executor, and together we will defend it from the Zerg until the time is right.
Mission 1-6
TURMALIS
Executor. The shuttles have arrived.
Mission 1-6
MOX
All right. We need to buy our scientists some time until the cavalry arrives.
Mission 1-6
GURNEY
Everybody keep your eyes peeled.
Mission 1-7
Turmalis
Executor, the time for action has come. Now that we have the capability to counter the dampening field and remove any and all Zerg presence from our lands, we must establish a stronghold near the very heart of the cluster located to the west of Antioch.
Mission 1-7
NANNOTH/TAERADUN
It will not be easy, Judicator. As the Executor well knows, we have little in the way of forces to spare for such an expedition.
Mission 1-7
Turmalis
I beg to differ. We have just received word from the High Command. It seems that the Auriga tribe has managed to rebuild a substantial portion of the fleet -- enough to spare for a decisive strike into Zerg territory.
Mission 1-7
Turmalis
The key to mounting this offensive will lie in the establishment of a central command post near the Zerg hive from which we may summon our ships of war. The Zerg defenses are too strong for a fleet to penetrate from the outside, but if the fleet is warped in from inside the cluster, we stand a greater chance of destroying them.
Mission 1-7
Turmalis
The emitter in your possession will allow you to function while inside the Zerg field by amplifying our psionic link. In light of this, however, be advised that only a small contingent of warriors will be able to establish an outpost and remain undetected. To this end, Khorun, Nurohk, Nannoth/Taeradun and a small complement of warriors will serve as your personal escort. The emitter itself will be installed in one of our fastest Scout ships.
Mission 1-7
Turmalis
Air superiority will be crucial. You must therefore nullify the ability of the Zerg to spawn airborne minions. The emitter will amplify our psionic link just enough to allow the warping in of the fleet, although you will likely still experience an energy drain of some sort. Move with discretion, Executor, for the emitter will eventually betray your position, and your forces will be at their weakest once inside the eye of the storm.
Mission 1-7
NANNOTH/TAERADUN
Set your mind at ease, Judicator. We will do what we must.
Mission 1-7
NANNOTH/TAERADUN
The Judicator was correct. I am, even now, growing weaker... But no matter. Onward!
Mission 1-7
NANNOTH/TAERADUN
This appears to be a suitable location.
Mission 1-8
Turmalis
Executor. Our vindication is at hand. The Zerg air force has been scattered; their swarms, broken. Now is the time to take final action. We move against the very heart of the Zerg infestation, the central hive cluster which guards the source of their psionic field -- the cocoon itself.
Mission 1-8
Turmalis
We are rallying our troops, even now, as the rest of the fleet arrives. We will need every last warrior and scout that Antioch can spare for this foray, since the Zerg field will render our forces weaker than they have ever been.
Mission 1-8
NANNOTH/TAERADUN
You speak the truth, Judicator, but alas, I can no longer aid you, since I am growing weaker by the very minute while in the presence of this corrosive force. I fear I will be of little help to you.
Mission 1-8
Turmalis
There is no cause for distress. You have already served the Conclave more than amply. Return to Jepok, brave one, and safeguard the teachings of Adun for generations to follow. You will be of greater use there.
Mission 1-8
NANNOTH/TAERADUN
So be it, Judicator. May the Khala guide you all to swift victory!
Mission 1-8
Turmalis
Our path is clear, Executor. We only need --
Mission 1-8
Nurohk
Judicator, we are receiving an incoming transmission.
Mission 1-8
Mox
This is Commander Charlie Mox to Protoss forces. I repeat, this is Commander Charlie Mox to Protoss forces -- do you read?
Mission 1-8
Turmalis
We hear you, human, as well as the urgency in your voice.
Mission 1-8
Mox
Yeah, well that's not the only thing you're gonna hear unless you keep an eye open. I finally figured out what that psi emitter was doing in the old Morian base on Char. The Combine was breeding its own telepaths to wage a psychic war with the Terran Dominion -- but that's not the bad part.
Mission 1-8
Mox
The bad part is that they were luring the Zerg to that installation to round them up for a strike on Korhal. Apparently, they weren't too pleased with the demise of the old Confederacy, for financial reasons. When we brought the emitter topside, it was no wonder the Zerg swarmed us.
Mission 1-8
Turmalis
Curious -- I wonder if this Combine has detected the psionic field that the Zerg have been projecting on Aiur.
Mission 1-8
Mox
Uh, sorry to burst your bubble, mate, but the Combine created that field. They knew that if they tried to use the Zerg against Arcturus' forces, your boys would just fry all parties involved like you nuked Chau Sara back when this whole war mess started. All the Combine had to do to distract you was just drop an emitter in the middle of the hives left on your planet and let the Zerg do the rest.
Mission 1-8
Turmalis
Then it would seem we still have much work ahead of us, once Antioch is freed from the Zerg.
Mission 1-8
Mox
Maybe, but you might be interested to know that a Kel-Morian detachment is on its way to the heart of the Zerg clusters right now. I guess they didn't take a shine to having their emitter stolen. Well, anyway, that's the thick and thin of it.
Mission 1-8
Turmalis
Our thanks to you, Commander. We realize you have taken a great risk in providing us with this information.
Mission 1-8
MOX
Oh, no worries. Hell, it's not like I'm workin' for them any more. Anyway, good luck. Mox out.
Mission 1-8
Turmalis
Executor, we await your orders.
Mission 1-8
KEL-MORIAN MARINE
We gotta move.
Mission 1-8
MOX
Heheh, yeah, I'd say that's about right -- FIRE!
Mission 1-8
GURNEY
Tooooo easy.
Mission 1-8
MOX
Oh, uh, g'day mate. Just thought me and the boys'd lend you a hand.
Mission 1-8
TURMALIS
Here to -- how shall we say -- ""fry some Zerg,"" are you?
Mission 1-8
MOX
Well, now that the ""hour is upon us...""
Mission 1-8
TURMALIS
I see your point. Welcome to the fray, Commander.
Mission 1-8
MOX
Ahhh, nothin' like pirates on the barbie to whet your appetite.
Mission 1-8
TURMALIS
Executor, the time has come for us to end this psionic storm once and for all.
Mission 1-8
GURNEY
What the hell? Those colonies just keep coming back!
Mission 1-8
GURNEY
Now THAT is what I call carnage.
Mission 1-8
MOX
Oh, come on, mate, that was in bad taste, and you know it.
Mission 1-8
TURMALIS
Commander. Executor. The tides have turned. Already our strength is returning. The Zerg that are left here will present little threat to us now. We have succeeded.
Mission 1-9
Turmalis
En Taro Adun, Executor. You will be pleased to know that in the past several days Antioch has been able to rebuild much of its former glory with the help of its neighboring brethren, and that several of the fleeing Zerg broods have been dealt considerable damage by our newly rejuvenated warriors.
Mission 1-9
Turmalis
While this certainly bodes well for Aiur, the information that we received from Commander Mox casts an indelible shadow on every moonrise we witness. If these Terrans stand complacent in their imagined ability to control the Zerg, we may very well have another full-scale war on our hands.
Mission 1-9
Turmalis
As for the Commander himself, I believe he has something to show us... in orbit.
Mission 1-9
MOX
G'day, mates. Welcome to New Brisbane Station, my little corner of heaven, now that hell's frozen over. Right now we're, uh, still in the heavy stages of construction.
Mission 1-9
TURMALIS
I see your time has been well-spent.
Mission 1-9
MOX
Well, I figure since I'm not going to work for Mengsk, and since I sure as hell can't go back to the Combine, I might as well set up shop right here, in case you need a favor sometime.
Mission 1-9
TURMALIS
We appreciate your generosity, Commander.
Mission 1-9
MOX
Oh, don't mention it. Feel free to stick around while we get this place up and running. The next load of SCVs should be due in about, oh, twenty minutes, with a dropship full of resources.
Mission 1-9
GURNEY
Uhhh, this CAN'T be good.
Mission 1-9
MOX
What? What is it?
Mission 1-9
GURNEY
You're not gonna believe this.
Mission 2-0
Adjutant
Adjutant online. Good evening, Captain. I have an incoming transmission from the Commander. Patching you in.
Mission 2-0
Mox
G'day, mate. Nice to see you could make it on such short notice. Been a long while... Too long, if you ask me -- but we'll have plenty of time to catch up once you're on the station. Now if you'll forgive the rough edges, we've already set up all your accommodations, so don't worry about a thing.
Mission 2-0
Mox
Oh, uh, one last note before you touch down. I'm expecting a few Protoss visitors. Nothing big -- I just invited 'em to check the place out, since we're in their space. At any rate, looks like you're about to dock, so I'd better tell Gurney to expect you. Just don't step on any toes while you're here, and you should be fine. See you in two. Mox out.
Mission 2-0
GURNEY
Uhhh, this CAN'T be good.
Mission 2-0
MOX
What? What is it?
Mission 2-0
GURNEY
You're not gonna believe this.
Mission 2-0
ADJUTANT
Commander, our position has been discovered.
Mission 2-0
MOX
Yeah, you're a real master of the obvious. What the hell was that all about? I thought we took care of the Kel-Morians a couple days ago down on the planet.
Mission 2-0
GURNEY
Looks like they got some reinforcements, man.
Mission 2-0
MOX
They didn't take out the Dropships, did they?
Mission 2-0
GURNEY
No, sensors still show 'em on the way. Rockwell's about to land, actually.
Mission 2-0
ROCKWELL
What the hell is this Rockwell hears about a Combine squadron on the way?
Mission 2-0
GURNEY
No squadron, man. We just got hammered by a wing of Wraiths.
Mission 2-0
ROCKWELL
Well you know, if THE most electrifying Siege Tank pilot in the sector had been on the station...
Mission 2-0
GURNEY
Man, shut up! And, McFly -- what the hell did I tell you about blastin' that progressive rock crap in your cockpit?
Mission 2-0
ROCKWELL
Listen, since you're in charge of Rockwell's paycheck, the Great One's gonna cut you a break -- today -- so why don't you make like a tree, and know your damn role.
Mission 2-0
MOX
Hey Gurney, looks like you're not the only one here who needs to know his role. Is this your idea of keepin' the troops in line?
Mission 2-0
GURNEY
Ah, Mason's harmless. Thinks he's a general, but he's generally just on an ego-trip. You just gotta get to know him. He gets the job done. Hell, he should; he didn't come cheap.
Mission 2-0
MOX
You tryin' to tell me you actually hired a guy who refers to himself in the third person?
Mission 2-0
ROCKWELL
Hey, Jabroni -- Rockwell heard that.
Mission 2-0
MOX
Yeah, why does that not surprise me? Hey wait -- I'm gettin' something...
Mission 2-0
ADJUTANT
Commander, I'm picking up a large strike force advancing on our position.
Mission 2-0
GURNEY
Crap. Looks like another wave comin' in.
Mission 2-0
MOX
How the hell did they find us in the first place?
Mission 2-0
ROCKWELL
Well, Rockwell feels like this
Mission 2-0
MOX
Hmm, hate to say it, but I hafta agree with him. Looks like we've got a snitch on board.
Mission 2-0
GURNEY
Sergeant Rockwell -- I mean, uh, General?
Mission 2-0
ROCKWELL
You damn right.
Mission 2-0
GURNEY
Yyyyeah -- listen, have the men conduct a search of the station. Find the bug. We don't need a mole on board.
Mission 2-0
ROCKWELL
Whatever you say, Jabroni.
Mission 2-0
TURMALIS
Commander, we ARE prepared to aid in the defense of this platform.
Mission 2-0
MOX
Thanks. It's much appreciated.
Mission 2-0
CIVILIAN
Hey.
Mission 2-0
ROCKWELL
Guess what THIS little roo-dee-poo found in Mox's cabin?
Mission 2-0
MOX
MY cabin?
Mission 2-0
ROCKWELL
A transmitter. It's a homing beacon. Candy-ass is a traitor.
Mission 2-0
GURNEY
Hey, Charlie... C'mon, did you plant this?
Mission 2-0
MOX
What the -- OF COURSE I didn't!
Mission 2-0
ROCKWELL
Yeah, yeah, okay. Rockwell might say the same thing himself, if someone had accused HIM!
Mission 2-0
MOX
Guys! Anyone gonna back me up here?
Mission 2-0
MARINE
He's whacked.
Mission 2-0
MARINE
I vote we frag this commander.
Mission 2-0
GURNEY
Look man, I hate to say this, but why don't you take some time off, leave the station for a while until we can get this cleared up.
Mission 2-0
MOX
I can't believe this. I can't believe you'd actually think I'd plant that bug.
Mission 2-0
GURNEY
Hey, Charlie -- I'll get to the bottom of this, man. Don't worry about it.
Mission 2-0
MOX
All right, fine. I'll just get my men and get ready to leave. Whoever's comin' with me, pack your things. Uh, Captain, why don't you stay here, and keep an eye on things.
Mission 2-0
GURNEY
That shouldn't be a problem. Hey, wait a sec -- what's this?
Mission 2-0
ADJUTANT
Receiving emergency transmission.
Mission 2-0
NUROHK
Judicator, the Temple of Jepok is under attack!
Mission 2-0
TURMALIS
Understood. Forgive me, Commander -- I wish you well -- but I must depart.
Mission 2-0
GURNEY
You know what? I think me and the Captain'll tag along. Rockwell, you make sure Charlie gets off the station okay and that he gets everything he wants. I'll contact you when we're done on the planet.
Mission 2-0
ROCKWELL
The Great One would be happy to.
Mission 2-0
MOX
Maybe the next time we meet, it'll be under better circumstances.
Mission 2-0
TURMALIS
Indeed.
Mission 2-0
GURNEY
All right, c'mon! Let's get the lead out.
Mission 2-1
Turmalis
Captain, we have little time. Set a transport beacon in the middle of your party. I shall locate a safe landing zone near Nurohk's forces and warp in the rest of our group on the planet's surface.
Mission 2-1
Turmalis
Go, and prepare your troops.
Mission 2-1
NUROHK
Judicator -- we must be swift. Zeratul and Aldaris have ordered the evacuation of Aiur, but there are still warriors stranded here in Antioch. Sensors show that the Zerg will reach the Temple in less than two minutes.
Mission 2-1
TURMALIS
And where is Nannoth/Taeradun?
Mission 2-1
NUROHK
I do not know. He has vanished.
Mission 2-1
TURMALIS
Very well. Let us move quickly -- to the temple!
Mission 2-1
MOLOCH
So... this is what their arrogance has cost us.
Mission 2-1
TURMALIS
Identify yourself... Who are you?
Mission 2-1
MOLOCH
I... am Moloch... a former student of the Templars Nannoth... and Taeradun.
Mission 2-1
TURMALIS
And where IS the mighty Archon?
Mission 2-1
MOLOCH
Apparently tending to more "pressing" business...overseeing the construction of a new temple in the province of Scion, amid the rubble.
Mission 2-1
TURMALIS
Scion?
Mission 2-1
GURNEY
So where'd all the Zerg come from? I thought this place was clean.
Mission 2-1
TURMALIS
Hardly. Our incursion against the Zerg near the Teross mud flats only crippled the broods nesting in the heart of Antioch. While several of our neighboring tribes have been bolstered by our efforts, the majority of Aiur is little more than a playground for the Zerg, who run unchecked in the absence of the Overmind or any controlling Cerebrates.
Mission 2-1
MOLOCH
There may be one exception.
Mission 2-1
TURMALIS
Oh?
Mission 2-1
MOLOCH
A single Cerebrate. I have felt its presence, to the west, in a canyon infested by the abominations. If my instincts serve me well, this may be the Cerebrate responsible for the Psi Cocoon, and the attacks on your province shortly after the death of the Overmind.
Mission 2-1
GURNEY
So what's the situation now?
Mission 2-1
TURMALIS
What of the other provinces?
Mission 2-1
MOLOCH
Most of your brethren on this world have fled through a warp gate which Praetor Fenix and the Terran known as Raynor have stayed behind to safeguard. I have seen their forces. They will hold for the time being.
Mission 2-1
MOLOCH
Aside from a few other scattered settlements and outposts... we are the only remaining survivors on Aiur. This temple, this paradise, was the last of Jepok's legacy.
Mission 2-1
MOLOCH
It pains me to see it left in ruins, but... If the Cerebrate responsible for the psionic dampening field is still directing its forces against us... I believe we will have no choice but to gather the knowledge salvaged from the archives here, and retreat, like the rest of your brethren, to Shakuras.
Mission 2-1
GURNEY
Sha-whatzit?
Mission 2-1
MOLOCH
Shakuras, the homeworld of MY brethren.
Mission 2-1
GURNEY
YOUR brethren?
Mission 2-1
MOLOCH
The Dark Templar.
Mission 2-1
TURMALIS
...He doesn't get out much.
Mission 2-1
NUROHK
Judicator -- if we are to begin an evacuation, we must do so with haste. Sensors show that the next wave of Zerg will reach our position within 10 minutes. There are still a number of Templar being held by the Zerg already in the area.
Mission 2-1
TURMALIS
Very well. Captain, send for an extraction team. We will need to leave for your station as soon as the last refugee has been rescued.
Mission 2-1
GURNEY
Don't bother. I already took the liberty of sending for help. Now let's just find those survivors and get the hell outta here.
Mission 2-2
Mox
Well isn't this just peachy. I can't believe I just got kicked off my own damn station. All right, men -- set a course for the Tornod system. I'm gonna find out who framed me, but I can't do it alone. Now I've caught wind of a guy they call ""Trench."" He's supposed to be good, real good, at what he does. Last I heard, he seemed pretty fond of the seedier spaceports, so Bora Dalis should be our first stop.
Mission 2-2
Mox
Now everybody try to keep a low profile. Let's not have a repeat of what happened last time we were there, all right, Johnny?
Mission 2-2
Marine
Uhh, eheh, eheheheh.
Mission 2-2
Mox
C'mon. Let's get goin'.
Mission 2-2
MOX
I'm tellin' ya, I'm TRYIN' to reach Mango Meridian.
Mission 2-2
WRAITH
Last transmission breakin' up. Come back.
Mission 2-2
MOX
Crikey! Listen, li-- what about Xenon? Is he there? Xenon, you owe me money! This is Borno.
Mission 2-2
XENON
This is Xenon at Bora Dalis Control. Do not deviate from your present flight plan.
Mission 2-2
MOX
Hey!! Dammit, I shoulda known that Borno crap wouldn't work. This is Commander Charlie Mox, requesting clearance to land. Here to pick up parts and supplies on our way to Korhal.
Mission 2-2
MOX
Come ON...
Mission 2-2
XENON
Unidentified craft, you are cleared to land at Docking Bay 94.
Mission 2-2
WRAITH
Go ahead, Commander.
Mission 2-2
MOX
THANK you!
Mission 2-2
DROPSHIP PILOT
Keep your arms and legs inside until this ride comes to a full and complete stop.
Mission 2-2
BORA DALIS CONTROL
Welcome to Bora Dalis Spaceport. For your safety and convenience, we ask that you please refrain from bringing any personal firearms, artillery or weapons of mass destruction onto the main concourse. Thank you.
Mission 2-2
MARINE
Aw, crap. Be careful, boys.
Mission 2-2
MOX
Hmm. I don't suppose they'll just let us walk right through Customs like this. Whaddya think, mates?
Mission 2-2
MARINE
Sir, I'm not sure you know what you're doin'.
Mission 2-2
MOX
I KNOW I don't know what I'm doin', Private. That's what keeps me on my toes.
Mission 2-2
CIVILIAN
Yeah, the old man just whacked off his arm and he and the kid scrammed outta here.
Mission 2-2
BOUNTY HUNTER
Yeah, what about those guys over there?
Mission 2-2
SCIENTIST
Bounty hunters... we don't need their scum.
Mission 2-2
BOUNTY HUNTER
You there! Halt! Let me see your papers!
Mission 2-2
ANDUIN
Whoa, hold the haggis there, laddie. You don't need to see his papers.
Mission 2-2
BOUNTY HUNTER
We, uhh... We don't need to see your papers.
Mission 2-2
ANDUIN
These aren't the boys you're lookin' for.
Mission 2-2
BOUNTY HUNTER
Uh, these aren't the boys we're lookin' for.
Mission 2-2
ANDUIN
They can go about their business.
Mission 2-2
BOUNTY HUNTER
You can go about your business.
Mission 2-2
ANDUIN
Move along.
Mission 2-2
BOUNTY HUNTER
Move along.
Mission 2-2
MOX
Thanks... I think. How'd you do that?
Mission 2-2
ANDUIN
Och, I saw it in a moooovie once. Besides, they're bloody idiots!
Mission 2-2
MOX
Name's Mox, Charlie Mox. I'm sorry, I didn't catch your, uh...
Mission 2-2
ANDUIN
Ian Anduin, of the Clan McAnduin. This your first time in Bora Dalis?
Mission 2-2
MOX
Well... first time like THIS, yeah. It's like you need a guide to keep from bumpin' into the wrong people.
Mission 2-2
ANDUIN
Well, I'd be happy to be YOUR guide.
Mission 2-2
MOX
What's it gonna cost me?
Mission 2-2
ANDUIN
Aw, nothin'. For you, it's freeeee.
Mission 2-2
MOX
Nothing's free, mate.
Mission 2-2
ANDUIN
Oh, shuuure! Have a little faith, laddie.
Mission 2-2
MOX
Well, I'm desperate, AND I'm totally screwed, so what the hell.
Mission 2-2
ANDUIN
Now THAT's the spirit!
Mission 2-2
MOX
We're lookin' for a guy named "Trench."
Mission 2-2
ANDUIN
Hmm. Name sounds familiar. There's a bar a few blocks up, Roger Wilco's. Maybe one o' the lads there can help.
Mission 2-2
ANDUIN
There it is, Roger Wilco's. Watch your step, laddie; this place can get a little rough.
Mission 2-2
CIVILIAN
Wait! Don't shoot!
Mission 2-2
MARINE
Sorry about the mess.
Mission 2-2
ANDUIN
Maybe one o' those bikers knows where this "Trench" is."
Mission 2-2
VULTURE
What do YOU want?
Mission 2-2
MOX
Uhh, nothin', mate. Nice bike.
Mission 2-2
MOX
Maybe you should handle this, eh?
Mission 2-2
ANDUIN
*clears throat*
Mission 2-2
VULTURE
Yeah?
Mission 2-2
ANDUIN
Ex-cuuuuse me, sir.
Mission 2-2
VULTURE
Somethin' you wanted?
Mission 2-2
ANDUIN
I was wondrin'... if you might know the whereabouts of a fellow they call "Trench."
Mission 2-2
VULTURE
I don't have time to f___ around!
Mission 2-2
ANDUIN
Ooooookay, I'll take that as a no.
Mission 2-2
MOX
Oh, perfect.
Mission 2-2
ANDUIN
Wait. Let me go talk to the bartender.
Mission 2-2
ANDUIN
He says he's heard of this "Trench," says he hangs out in the northwest quarter.
Mission 2-2
MOX
Well, great!
Mission 2-2
ANDUIN
Ohhh nooo, laddie. Apparently that's a big crime sector.
Mission 2-2
MOX
Will wonders never cease.
Mission 2-2
ANDUIN
C'mon. Let's get goin'. We should stop by Quatto's Junk Shop and see if we can pick up some cheap gear. We might need it!
Mission 2-2
MOX
Heheh, I forgot to mention... Last time I was here, I, uhh... racked up a few gambling debts. Guess the locals ain't too happy. Better keep an eye open.
Mission 2-2
MARINE
...and on top of that, Umojan Biotech will compensate you handsomely for any excessive blood loss or permanent organ damage you may suffer.
Mission 2-2
CIVILIAN
Ah, what the hell -- I need that college money.
Mission 2-2
QUATTO
Hello. Welcome to Quatto's. Ah, Mister Anduin. I trust you are doing well, hmm?
Mission 2-2
ANDUIN
Och, cut the crap. We're lookin' for some weapon enhancements. Can ye help us?
Mission 2-2
QUATTO
Of course I can help you. But it's goink to cost youuuu...
Mission 2-2
MOX
*sigh* How much?
Mission 2-2
QUATTO
Ehhh... Oh, I don't know -- four hundred.
Mission 2-2
MOX
Hey, we could almost buy our own ship for that!
Mission 2-2
QUATTO
Oh, well if you don't really NEED the firepower, you can manage with what you have. Maybe. Take it or leave it.
Mission 2-2
ANDUIN
Four hundred??
Mission 2-2
MOX
Fine, fine, fine.
Mission 2-2
QUATTO
Wonderful. Beautiful. Step right up and help yourselves. The ordnance is in my shop.
Mission 2-2
ANDUIN
Quatto -- did you ever finish fixin' my hoverbike?
Mission 2-2
QUATTO
Ah, my schedule has been so busy, I...
Mission 2-2
ANDUIN
Fine. Ah'll fix it myself. I'll take one o' those SCVeees.
Mission 2-2
QUATTO
Ah, that'll be fifty. Richter -- help the man out.
Mission 2-2
CIVILIAN
All right.
Mission 2-2
MOX
Hey! Uh, Anduin? This SCV's got a bad motivator, look!
Mission 2-2
ANDUIN
Hey, what're you tryin' ta pull here?
Mission 2-2
QUATTO
Ehh, heheheh. Eh, Richter, eh, go get the OTHER SCV.
Mission 2-2
CIVILIAN
Sure thing!
Mission 2-2
ANDUIN
All right. Let's get this thing repaired.
Mission 2-2
QUATTO
Have a nice day.
Mission 2-2
MOX
Yeah, you too, you -- ah, forget it.
Mission 2-2
MARINE
It's them! Blast 'em!
Mission 2-2
MOX
Well, northwest quarter, but I don't see anybody that fits his description... Let's head east and see what we can find.
Mission 2-2
MOX
Uhh, hello? Anyone there?
Mission 2-2
TRENCH
You boys sure do know how to make a lotta noise.
Mission 2-2
TRENCH
Trent Aster, at your service. They call me ""Trench"" around here. Now, what can I do for you?
Mission 2-3
Turmalis
I assume all our brethren have been safely evacuated?
Mission 2-3
Nurohk
All the remaining Templar have been accounted for, Judicator.
Mission 2-3
Turmalis
Captain, I must extend my gratitude to you for joining us on this rescue. The assistance of your forces has been invaluable.
Mission 2-3
Gurney
So whaddya plan to do now? Leave everything behind?
Mission 2-3
Turmalis
Unfortunately, we have little choice. I am concerned, however, that if we leave matters such as they are, we may stand little chance of ever reclaiming our homeworld. I had hoped that Antioch might stand as a last bastion in the tide of this war, however distant that possibility might seem.
Mission 2-3
Turmalis
If our dark new ally's instincts are to be trusted, then perhaps we might do well to strike at this nearby Cerebrate, while we still maintain the element of surprise. If this scourge is left to thrive here, we may never again see our province reach its ancient glory.
Mission 2-3
Nurohk
Judicator -- if you intend to stage an incursion against these beasts, I stand with you.
Mission 2-3
Khorun
And I stand with Nurohk.
Mission 2-3
Gurney
Hey, I might as well tag along. One less Cerebrate lurkin' around is one less liability for the boys up on the station. I'm in.
Mission 2-3
Turmalis
Very well. Prepare your troops. I have need, now, to speak with the newcomer.
Mission 2-3
Nurohk
We will wait for your command.
Mission 2-3
Turmalis
Enter.
Mission 2-3
Moloch
Your decision surprises me. The strength of will to strike in the midst of a tempest was not ""typical"" of your Conclave.
Mission 2-3
Turmalis
This from one who hides in shadows.
Mission 2-3
Turmalis
In any case, it is of little consequence. You hardly knew my contemporaries.
Mission 2-3
Moloch
Judicator, I am almost five hundred years old. In that time, I have seen the vilest of atrocities committed in the name of your Conclave, born witness to the backstabbing deceptions of the depraved Terrans, and shed more blood in one day than you have in a century. I suggest we each do what we do best. As a warrior, I will do the killing. You plan the strategy.
Mission 2-3
Turmalis
Fair enough.
Mission 2-3
Moloch
So... we strike under cover of darkness.
Mission 2-3
Turmalis
Yes. The storm will grant us some small advantage.
Mission 2-3
Moloch
Hiding in shadows, are we?
Mission 2-3
Turmalis
Very amusing.
Mission 2-3
NANNOTH/TAERADUN
Moloch!
Mission 2-3
Moloch
You.
Mission 2-3
NANNOTH/TAERADUN
Judicator, what is the meaning of this -- enlisting the aid of a heretic?
Mission 2-3
Moloch
I could say the same of you, Archon.
Mission 2-3
Turmalis
Nannoth/Taeradun's reputation is beyond reproach, Moloch. And you, brave one -- do not forget that it was Zeratul who helped Tassadar defeat the Overmind. In any case, we have more important matters to deal with than the apparent grudge the two of you share.
Mission 2-3
Moloch
Perhaps.
Mission 2-3
Turmalis
The Cerebrate may detect us if we wait any longer. We move within the hour. I would greatly appreciate assistance from both of you in this matter. Our forces are limited.
Mission 2-3
Moloch
I am not needed elsewhere.
Mission 2-3
NANNOTH/TAERADUN
So be it. Though it is against my better judgment, I shall commit part of my forces defending Scion to your strike. I simply hope this blasphemer does not disappoint you as he has disappointed me.
Mission 2-3
Turmalis
That remains to be --
Mission 2-3
NANNOTH/TAERADUN
A final warning -- before the next full moonrise, one of the allies with whom you stand... will betray you. Fix not your gaze where it is required the least.
Mission 2-3
Moloch
How dare he.
Mission 2-3
Turmalis
The time is hard at hand.
Mission 2-3
GURNEY
Okay, Captain. We've got two ways to go here. Turmalis told us to set up base camp where we can use the trees for cover, but exactly where we do it is up to us. It's north or south from here. Take your pick.
Mission 2-3
GURNEY
All right. Looks good. Judicator, we're in position.
Mission 2-3
TURMALIS
Excellent. Our forces are in place as well.
Mission 2-3
GURNEY
What about those support troops from Scion?
Mission 2-3
TURMALIS
They have already taken a position on the northwest ridge. We should have ample time to prepare a suitable strike force while they distract the Zerg.
Mission 2-3
MOLOCH
Remember, only my energies can destroy the Cerebrate. I MUST be present during its destruction.
Mission 2-3
GURNEY
Acknowledged. Gurney out.
Mission 2-3
MOLOCH
Ahh, where is your Overmind now, Cerebrate? So much for Zerg immortality.
Mission 2-4
Mox
Well, you asked for the long version.
Mission 2-4
Trench
No, no, that's fine. You've told me everything I need to know.
Mission 2-4
Mox
All right. Have you got the security codes?
Mission 2-4
Trench
Yeah. I have to admit, with everything you've given me, it's gonna be a snap gettin' in there.
Mission 2-4
Mox
Don't underestimate my security forces -- or should I say Gurney's security forces. Smart people on New Brisbane.
Mission 2-4
Trench
Don't worry. They won't be smart enough.
Mission 2-4
Mox
Well, just be careful.
Mission 2-4
Trench
Yes, mother. I'll contact you when I've found out what's goin' on. Be back before ya know it.
Mission 2-4
Mox
I hope so.
Mission 2-4
TRENCH
This place just cracked right open. All right. Let's see what's in here...
Mission 2-4
TRENCH
Boo.
Mission 2-4
MARINE
Hey, who the hell are you?
Mission 2-4
TRENCH
I'm the Sandman, jackass.
Mission 2-4
CIVILIAN
Hey, you're not allowed in, uh, here, uhm -- uh, this is Bob, we have an intruder alert -- hey, is this thing on? Aww, man!
Mission 2-4
CIVILIAN
*gulp* Heh, eheheh.
Mission 2-4
TRENCH
Ever dance with the Devil in the pale moonlight?
Mission 2-4
CIVILIAN
Huh?
Mission 2-4
TRENCH
It's something I ask of all my victims.
Mission 2-4
CIVILIAN
Uh, really?
Mission 2-4
TRENCH
Heh. Nah. Saw it in a movie once.
Mission 2-4
TRENCH
I seem to remember the sequels really sucked, though. Oh, well.
Mission 2-4
TRENCH
Okay, here we go.
Mission 2-4
ADJUTANT
Access code denied.
Mission 2-4
TRENCH
Sure, baby. You say that now, but just wait till I start sweet-talkin' ya.
Mission 2-4
ADJUTANT
Access code denied.
Mission 2-4
TRENCH
Damn. I guess "No," means "no."
Mission 2-4
TRENCH
Oh, grrrreat job, Mox. Nice codes you gave me. I guess they musta changed 'em since ya left. Makes sense. All right, let's see -- next terminal is down the hall. Let's try that one.
Mission 2-4
TRENCH
Okay, take three.
Mission 2-4
ADJUTANT
Access code accepted.
Mission 2-4
TRENCH
That's right, darlin'. Now... Says here there's a classified file room in the west wing. Let's just unlock that while we're at it, and... Bingo. Should be easy pickings.
Mission 2-4
TRENCH
Finally. Now, let's see what secrets you've got for me.
Mission 2-4
TRENCH
Hmm... Looks like a coded transmission from the station to a... Kel-Morian official. Date's pretty recent. Oh, wow... Oh, maaan. If this doesn't rock your world, I don't know what does...
Mission 2-4
ADJUTANT
Unauthorized entry detected.
Mission 2-4
TRENCH
Oh, beautiful. Tea party's over. Time to get the hell outta here. We got an access tunnel here? Yes! God, I love symmetrical station designs.
Mission 2-4
GURNEY
Hey, Sergeant -- I mean, uh, General. Just got back. Anything new?
Mission 2-4
ROCKWELL
Some Jabroni over in security just picked up an intruder.
Mission 2-4
GURNEY
You're kidding me! Where is he now?
Mission 2-4
ROCKWELL
Candy-ass just got away. Comsat just picked up a ship already leaving the system.
Mission 2-4
GURNEY
Son of a -- hey, McFly! Whaddya waitin' for? Get a ship prepped for launch!
Mission 2-4
ROCKWELL
What for?
Mission 2-4
GURNEY
To find out who's been going through our laundry.
Mission 2-5
Mox
All right, men. I figure Trench is gonna take a while, so in the meantime we might as well prepare ourselves in case things get ugly. Unfortunately, we're fresh outta money and fresh outta weapons.
Mission 2-5
Mox
Suggestions?
Mission 2-5
Anduin
Well, why not head to the highlands? There's plenty of minerals and raw gas up there, near the old abandoned mining camps.
Mission 2-5
Mox
Heh. You know, I'm beginning to like the way you think, friend.
Mission 2-5
Mox
You heard 'im -- let's pack it up! We've got a long trek up to the mountains ahead of us.
Mission 2-5
MOX
Wait -- I'm reading a mine field dead ahead.
Mission 2-5
ANDUIN
Och, don't worry. Seen this kinda thing before. I have just the thing to take care of it.
Mission 2-5
MOX
That was almost a little TOO convenient.
Mission 2-5
CROWLEY
Oh, Anduin! Look -- it's Ian! He's returned!
Mission 2-5
ANDUIN
How are ya, laddie?
Mission 2-5
CROWLEY
Not as fine as you, apparently. Looks like ye got your bike fixed, eh?
Mission 2-5
ANDUIN
Aye, that I did. Any more pirate raids?
Mission 2-5
CROWLEY
Yes, one just this mornin'. We're still tryin' to repair the damage. We'd be beholdin' to ya if ye could help.
Mission 2-5
MOX
Uh, excuse me. Anduin, could I have a word with you?
Mission 2-5
ANDUIN
What is it?
Mission 2-5
MOX
What's this I hear about pirates?
Mission 2-5
ANDUIN
The pirates he's talkin' 'bout have been harassin' my village for a long time now, ever since the Dominion first centralized control of Tornod III in the larger spaceports. These mountains ain't exactly safe.
Mission 2-5
MOX
And let me guess -- you brought us up here just in case we might be able to make them a little safer.
Mission 2-5
ANDUIN
Well, if you were to help my village, you could mine the area in peace -- alongside our village, of course.
Mission 2-5
MOX
I toldja nothing was free, mate.
Mission 2-5
ANDUIN
Well, ye canna blame ME, friend.
Mission 2-5
MOX
Heh. Yeah. Suppose I can't.
Mission 2-5
ANDUIN
So, will you stay and fight?
Mission 2-5
MOX
Oh... No worries. I've been through tougher spots before.
Mission 2-5
ANDUIN
That's what I like to hear! Hey, Crowley! Get the power back on in the old Command Center. We're gonna kick some pirate tail tonight!
Mission 2-5
CROWLEY
Great. Gimme a moment.
Mission 2-5
MOX
Me and my men'll move on ahead to scout the enemy's position.
Mission 2-5
ANDUIN
You can use the transports we still have left to get up onto the ridge. We'll be waitin' for your signal.
Mission 2-5
MOX
Right.
Mission 2-5
CIVILIAN
Hey guys? I'm startin' to get hungry.
Mission 2-5
URSADON
*roar*
Mission 2-5
MARINE
Is that enough meat for ya?
Mission 2-5
CROWLEY
I'm afraid we don't have much in the way o' resources. We only have a few deposits, and they're not too deep at that. Maybe you can look for a spot up north.
Mission 2-5
MOX
There's the first outpost. Fire up the barbie, mates. I think there's gonna be a whole lotta roastin' goin' on.
Mission 2-5
MARINE
All right.
Mission 2-5
MOX
Let's get into position.
Mission 2-5
URSADON
*roar*
Mission 2-5
MOX
We're in position. Let's move!
Mission 2-5
MARINE
Arrr, avast ye!
Mission 2-5
MOX
You gotta be kiddin' me.
Mission 2-5
MOX
THAT's gonna leave a mark.
Mission 2-5
MOX
We've taken the first outpost. Three to go.
Mission 2-5
MOX
We're halfway there, mates. We've still got two bases to take out.
Mission 2-5
MOX
Three down, one to go.
Mission 2-5
ANDUIN
That's it, laddie! Keep it up!
Mission 2-5
MOX
Mind if I ask you a question?
Mission 2-5
ANDUIN
Go ahead, laddie.
Mission 2-5
MOX
Just where the HELL are you from?
Mission 2-5
ANDUIN
Huh?
Mission 2-5
MOX
Your accent. It doesn't make any sense.
Mission 2-5
ANDUIN
I'm sorry?
Mission 2-5
MOX
I mean, it's not Scottish, it's not Irish -- hell, it's not even vaguely British!
Mission 2-5
ANDUIN
What's British?
Mission 2-5
MOX
Argh! Never mind.
Mission 2-5
MOX
All right. I think it's time we took out those punks down on the central plains. We don't need them hangin' around, either.
Mission 2-5
MOX
Ahhh... There can be only one.
Mission 2-5
MOX
What do you mean by that?
Mission 2-5
MOX
Heh. I dunno. Saw it in a movie once.
Mission 2-5
MOX
Ahhh... There can be only one.
Mission 2-5
MOX
What do you mean by that?
Mission 2-5
MOX
Heh. I dunno. Saw it in a movie once.
Mission 2-5
MOX
Don't forget -- we're gonna need at least 10 thousand in minerals if we're hoping to muster up some respectable forces.
Mission 2-5
MOX
Looks like we got enough resources, mates. Let's pack it up.
Mission 2-6
Turmalis
We have only an hour's travel left until we reach New Antioch. I am curious to see how our refugees have been adapting to life with your brethren, dark one.
Mission 2-6
Moloch
Much in the same way we are adapting, I imagine. Or is my faith unfounded?
Mission 2-6
Turmalis
It is too early to tell... I imagine.
Mission 2-6
Moloch
I will grant you that.
Mission 2-6
Nurohk
Judicator -- I am picking up unusual readings from the caverns ahead.
Mission 2-6
Turmalis
Elaborate.
Mission 2-6
Nurohk
Sensors show a swarm of Zerg emerging from the underground caverns surrounding New Antioch -- mostly ground forces, including the strange subterranean strain we encountered near the ruins of Jepok, back on Aiur.
Mission 2-6
Khorun
Beasts that dwell beneath the earth and rip their prey to shreds from below. Only cowards shun the open air.
Mission 2-6
Nurohk
According to sensor logs, the swarm has remained undetected until this moment. It is currently moving to intercept a shuttle payload on its way to one of New Antioch's outlying mining bases. There are additional forces still emerging from the caverns.
Mission 2-6
Turmalis
Moloch... is this normal, for this time of year?
Mission 2-6
Moloch
You have been spending too much time with the Terrans. Your levity is hardly appropriate.
Mission 2-6
Turmalis
Detachment breeds competence. Excessive emotional investment will only cripple one's ability to strike decisively and efficiently.
Mission 2-6
Moloch
You sound as if you have rehearsed those words.
Mission 2-6
Khorun
Enough! Forgive me, Judicator, but we must move. Order, and we will march into battle against these perversions of nature!
Mission 2-6
Turmalis
You are a true Zealot by all accounts, Khorun. You honor your counterpart.
Mission 2-6
Nurohk
We stand as one, Judicator. Like you, we long to see Antioch restored to its ancient glory.
Mission 2-6
Turmalis
Oh, that I may yet live to see that day -- but for now, we must deal with the situation at hand. Moloch, is there a haven nearby where we might safely plan a course of action?
Mission 2-6
Moloch
There is a mining base to the southeast of the cavern ridge. It appears only lightly disturbed by Zerg presence. It may be safe.
Mission 2-6
Turmalis
Very well. We have little time for speculation, at any rate. We move.
Mission 2-6
Khorun
Finally! Battle calls!
Mission 2-6
MOLOCH
Be wary. The land here is much different than it is on your homeworld. These cliffs can envelop the landscape in shadows that change with one's very thoughts and emotions. Keep close, Judicator, and stay alert.
Mission 2-6
TURMALIS
I can assure you, staying alert is foremost on my mind. I have sent Khorun and Nurohk ahead to reconnoiter our prospective base camp. We should hurry -- they must be waiting by now.
Mission 2-6
TURMALIS
Intriguing. How do you propose we deal with THIS?
Mission 2-6
MOLOCH
The cliffs hide the answer.
Mission 2-6
TURMALIS
We seem to have found it.
Mission 2-6
KHRILLIAN
I am called Khrillian. I am here to assist you.
Mission 2-6
MOLOCH
Khrillian, my friend -- I would not have thought it possible.
Mission 2-6
KHRILLIAN
Moloch! I am here, and still alive, comrade! It is good to see you amid all this chaos! And who is this outsider?
Mission 2-6
MOLOCH
He is Turmalis, a Judicator of the old homeworld, from which we have recently returned.
Mission 2-6
KHRILLIAN
Another Judicator from Aiur, here on Shakuras? Hmm! Stranger things have happened. En Taro Tassadar, Judicator Turmalis.
Mission 2-6
TURMALIS
Our meeting was fortunate.
Mission 2-6
KHRILLIAN
Of that I have no doubt. Come. I will escort you to your destination.
Mission 2-6
NUROHK
Judicator -- all is secure here. What is our plan of action?
Mission 2-6
TURMALIS
Moloch has provided me with the locations of several sentry emplacements along the northeastern ridge of the caverns, overlooking several small canyons where Vespene gas was once refined. Each sentry station is unmanned, and has been ignored by the Zerg. These will be our points of entry.
Mission 2-6
MOLOCH
A shuttle will drop off one or two volunteers at the first sentry post. They will then attempt to lure the nearby Zerg farther into the canyon, close to the old Vespene Assimilator. A charge will be placed at the base of the Assimilator, at which point the shuttle will transport our volunteers to safety.
Mission 2-6
TURMALIS
The charge should ignite the Vespene gas still inside the Assimilator, forcing an explosion that should wipe out the Zerg caught above ground in the canyon. At that point, the shuttle will move on to the next sentry station, to repeat the process.
Mission 2-6
TURMALIS
That is, IF the shuttle makes it out in time.
Mission 2-6
TURMALIS
To avoid unnecessary risk, the majority of us will stay here to guard this outpost until a path is cleared to New Antioch. Only the detonation team will board the actual shuttle. This should allow the operation to progress undetected.
Mission 2-6
MOLOCH
We only have five detonation charges, but they should be sufficient. We should be able to cut a path through the Zerg, toward the southwest, that will allow us safe passage to New Antioch... if all goes well.
Mission 2-6
KHRILLIAN
A well conceived plan, but the question remains
Mission 2-6
KHORUN
I will. It is time to take back what the Zerg have stolen. It matters not that this world is alien to me. The battle is one and the same.
Mission 2-6
NUROHK
I will go as well. We would not have it any other way.
Mission 2-6
TURMALIS
Very well, but be swift. The faster we move, the more Zerg we prevent from assailing New Antioch.
Mission 2-6
NUROHK
We must get close enough to lure them in.
Mission 2-6
KHORUN
Charges set.
Mission 2-6
KHORUN
Greet death with open arms, filth-ridden worms! Aiur's children have teeth of their own!
Mission 2-6
KHORUN
Charges set.
Mission 2-6
NUROHK
These beasts die well, at the very least.
Mission 2-6
KHORUN
Charges set.
Mission 2-6
KHORUN
I must say, Nurohk -- this feels like old times.
Mission 2-6
NUROHK
You do your homeland proud, Khorun.
Mission 2-6
KHORUN
No -- YOU do. I simply serve as I must.
Mission 2-6
NUROHK
We are almost through. One more canyon stands between us and New Antioch.
Mission 2-6
NUROHK
Where is the shuttle?
Mission 2-6
KHORUN
Destroyed!
Mission 2-6
TURMALIS
Khorun! Nurohk! What is the problem?
Mission 2-6
NUROHK
The shuttle has been torn apart, by a Protoss squadron!
Mission 2-6
KHRILLIAN
What? A PROTOSS squadron?
Mission 2-6
KHORUN
Yes! We have no means of escape!
Mission 2-6
KHRILLIAN
I could FLY in...
Mission 2-6
MOLOCH
There is no time. They are too far away.
Mission 2-6
NUROHK
Forget us! Prepare your troops to make their way to New Antioch, Judicator.
Mission 2-6
KHORUN
Quickly, before more Zerg arrive to fill in the ranks of those that have fallen.
Mission 2-6
TURMALIS
We move at once! En Taro Adun, defenders of Antioch!
Mission 2-6
KHORUN
En Taro Adun!
Mission 2-6
KHORUN
We do this for Aiur...
Mission 2-6
NUROHK
...AND for Shakuras.
Mission 2-6
HYDRALISK
*savage growl*
Mission 2-6
KHORUN
Come, and kill me with your own claws, vermin!
Mission 2-6
NUROHK
You seem to welcome your fall, Khorun.
Mission 2-6
KHORUN
Why should I not? You welcomed yours, as a warrior should.
Mission 2-6
NUROHK
No, I did not.
Mission 2-6
KHORUN
It was my fault. I should have been there. I should have been faster.
Mission 2-6
NUROHK
Clear your mind of it. Now is not the time to dwell in the past, on who stood and who fell.
Mission 2-6
KHORUN
I will stand with you now, Nurohk... and fall with you.
Mission 2-6
NUROHK
As you wish. We cannot go back now.
Mission 2-6
KHORUN
Come closer, maggots! Die in one heaping pile of filth, that my brethren may tread on you once the ashes have cleared!
Mission 2-6
NUROHK
WHAT!?
Mission 2-6
KHRILLIAN
Judicator -- your troops have succeeded. A path lies clear to New Antioch.
Mission 2-6
TURMALIS
Indeed it does. Their sacrifice will not be forgotten.
Mission 2-6
MOLOCH
They had one heart... the heart of a warrior. That much is certain.
Mission 2-7
Moloch
Judicator, I share your grief for the loss of Khorun and Nurohk. I did not know them long, but their fire burned bright enough to illuminate even a shadow warrior such as I.
Mission 2-7
Turmalis
They were prepared to fight. Unfortunately, preparing for loss does not always come so easily.
Mission 2-7
Khrillian
How many more must die? How many have already been sacrificed? Khas, Adun, Jepok, Argus, Tassadar...
Mission 2-7
Moloch
...and Kuldarus.
Mission 2-7
Turmalis
Kuldarus?
Mission 2-7
Moloch
Long ago, Judicator, I was once a Zealot of your people... It was in that glorious time of peace and tranquility that I knew Kuldarus, and studied with him the ancient teachings. It is to him that I owe my enlightenment, my departure from tradition. Like those he followed and those who followed him, he sought a freedom of mind and spirit... and was murdered for it by his own mentor.
Mission 2-7
Moloch
Taeradun.
Mission 2-7
Turmalis
Taeradun!?
Mission 2-7
Moloch
One and the same.
Mission 2-7
Turmalis
I can scarcely believe it.
Mission 2-7
Khrillian
Believe it, Judicator. My predecessor, Laurioch, witnessed the event with his own eyes.
Mission 2-7
Moloch
Nannoth, Taeradun and Laurioch were Templar under the leadership of Jepok. As pupils of the Templar, Kuldarus, myself, and the brave Sinar waged war against the mad armies of a rogue Judicator obsessed with the forbidden secrets of Xel'Nagan technologies.
Mission 2-7
Turmalis
And who was this Judicator?
Mission 2-7
Khrillian
Sevorak. His name is seldom spoken. It was forbidden to record it in the Archives; such was his evil. Only Laurioch kept a personal account of his doings. The tome rests in MY custody now. Even I do not dare open it.
Mission 2-7
Turmalis
A thirst for knowledge does not denote evil intent.
Mission 2-7
Moloch
Judicator, you hardly knew my contemporaries.
Mission 2-7
Turmalis
Ah, where have I heard that before?
Mission 2-7
Moloch
Imagine the fields of Aiur, soaked in the blood and dismembered limbs of your own people -- a glimpse into the foul blasphemy... of his evil.
Mission 2-7
Khrillian
No, Moloch. Even that would not be a glimpse.
Mission 2-7
Turmalis
I believe I understand, but what became of this Sevorak, and what relation does it bear to Taeradun, and the death of your friend Kuldarus?
Mission 2-7
Moloch
Alongside our Templar masters, Kuldarus, Sinar, and I fought against Sevorak and his twisted minions. Their forces were legion, but we stood firm. It was in the darkest hour of our struggle that Taeradun betrayed us to Sevorak. Our losses were great, and Kuldarus fell by Taeradun's own hand.
Mission 2-7
Moloch
Only Nannoth's interference saved Taeradun from Jepok's fury and my own blades. He sacrificed himself by forcing a merging. He and Taeradun became one. Nannoth's will was strong enough to carry out the assassination of Sevorak, for which we all owe him a great debt... but, in time, Taeradun's will once again grew dominant. Jepok could not bring himself to destroy his old friend Nannoth, and so sealed the Archon alive in a nondescript temple far from the comings and goings of others.
Mission 2-7
Moloch
After that day, I and Laurioch spoke truthfully of the incident to our people. The Assembly branded us as heretics for blasphemy against the Archon's memory and calling Jepok a liar. We were exiled.
Mission 2-7
Moloch
According to Laurioch's journal, Nannoth/Taeradun had never been seen or heard from again. That is, until YOU encountered him at the Temple of Jepok -- may its ruins rest in peace.
Mission 2-7
Turmalis
Hmmm. I understand your doubts, Moloch, but... for once, I have little to say. I must think on this. I must think on this at great length.
Mission 2-7
Moloch
En Taro Adun.
Mission 2-7
Turmalis
En Taro Adun.
2-7
"KHRILLIAN"
"Was it proper to burden him with this?"
2-7
"Moloch"
"Perhaps not. But it was necessary. Turmalis is wise, but his is not a questioning soul. Perhaps this may open his eyes."
2-7
"KHRILLIAN"
"Or perhaps it may close them -- forever."
Mission 2-7
MOLOCH
They had one heart... the heart of a warrior. That much is certain.
Mission 2-7
KHRILLIAN
...I must regretfully inform you that the Judicator does not wish to be disturbed.
Mission 2-7
MOLOCH
What is it, Khrillian?
Mission 2-7
KHRILLIAN
I am receiving a transmission from a ship in orbit. A Terran ship.
Mission 2-7
MOLOCH
Terran?
Mission 2-7
KHRILLIAN
Yes. Wait -- there is more:
Mission 2-7
TRENCH
Tell him it's about Mox.
Mission 2-7
TURMALIS
A transmission regarding Commander Mox?
Mission 2-7
KHRILLIAN
It is merely a single Terran in orbit, Judicator. I WAS about to dismiss him.
Mission 2-7
TURMALIS
No -- thank you. Patch the signal through to me here.
Mission 2-7
KHRILLIAN
As you wish.
Mission 2-7
TURMALIS
Speak, Terran.
Mission 2-7
TRENCH
You don't know me. The name's Aster, Trent Aster. Or you can call me "Trench," if you like.
Mission 2-7
TURMALIS
I have no time for idle chat nor long introductions. You mentioned Commander Mox. Do you bring news of his current status?
Mission 2-7
TRENCH
You could say that. I'm an information broker and I was recently hired by the Commander. And I've, uh, recently discovered something... interesting. Normally I'd just finish the job, collect my dues, and move on to the next thing, but, uh, in the light of this information, I can't exactly return to my employer.
Mission 2-7
TURMALIS
Oh? Explain.
Mission 2-7
TRENCH
I take it you know about Mox's exile?
Mission 2-7
TURMALIS
I was present, yes.
Mission 2-7
TRENCH
I know who planted the homing beacon in Mox's quarters.
Mission 2-7
TURMALIS
Indeed. Do tell.
Mission 2-7
TRENCH
50,000 credits first.
Mission 2-7
TURMALIS
Terran, if your information is of any use to me, you may be paid. If not, I may very well blow you out of the sky for wasting my time.
Mission 2-7
TRENCH
Fair enough. The person who planted that homing beacon wasn't Mox. It was Dale Gurney. And that's not even the interesting part. Those weren't Kel-Morian Wraiths attacking the station.
Mission 2-7
TURMALIS
Elaborate.
Mission 2-7
TRENCH
Those Wraiths were using fake serial numbers and transponder codes, flyin' around all painted up to look like Combine ships. Check your old data and you'll see that the masked signatures are specific to the troops on Mt. Midnight -- the old Char Psi Reserve under jurisdiction of the Combine.
Mission 2-7
TURMALIS
I do not recall seeing a substantial air force of any kind at the Commander's former base. You are saying the Wraiths that attacked him belonged to the Brisbane contingent. For what purpose would they attack themselves?
Mission 2-7
TRENCH
Well, I managed to get my hands on a transmission between Gurney and a Kel-Morian officer... but from the conversation, it turns out that the officer was just someone under Gurney's command. That Wraith squadron's instructions were to pose as Kel-Morian pilots, attack the station, set the ships on autopilot, and eject for pickup by the other officers conveniently on leave. That set the stage for the bug to be "found," and Mox to get kicked off.
Mission 2-7
TURMALIS
Does this not sound a bit contrived to you, Terran? What is the point of staging this elaborate charade just to exile Commander Mox?
Mission 2-7
TRENCH
Ahh, but that's where this little conspiracy gets good. There are a few inconsistencies here that you just can't ignore. Now didn't Mox tell you that the Combine was planning to use an army of psionically controlled Zerg against the Dominion?
Mission 2-7
TURMALIS
Yes.
Mission 2-7
TRENCH
Yeah, well, what he failed to mention was that the Combine is actually a part of the Dominion itself now. It'd be pretty stupid for the Kel-Morians to want revenge, over monetary losses, when the Dominion Engineering Corps is actually a subsidiary of the Combine itself -- and that's just one example off the top of my head. The Combine hasn't suffered on account of Mengsk rising to power; it's gotten richer.
Mission 2-7
TURMALIS
So the Commander's information was mistaken.
Mission 2-7
TRENCH
Nnnnot quite. Isn't it also a coincidence that the two of them happened to be training Ghosts only a "stone's throw" away from an old, supposedly abandoned Morian mining base, that "coincidentally" happened to house a platoon of telepaths in cold storage, and a psi emitter capable of luring all the Zerg on Char to any planet like flies to fly paper?
Mission 2-7
TURMALIS
You are saying Commander Mox and his forces wanted to use the psionic technology themselves and that he purposely lied to us in order to obtain it?
Mission 2-7
TRENCH
Now you're startin' to get the picture.
Mission 2-7
TURMALIS
And what of the Kel-Morian troops who assaulted us shortly before the Psi Cocoon was destroyed? Commander Mox himself assisted my forces in dispatching them. I suppose those were imposters too.
Mission 2-7
TRENCH
No. Those were the real deal. Obviously, from all the gear at Mt. Midnight, the REAL Combine was into psionic experimentation. The Dominion Engineering Corps ain't just a bunch of bridge-builders and civil engineers.
Mission 2-7
TRENCH
Somehow, Gurney and Mox got wind that the Combine was experimenting with the Zerg on Aiur. All that bull about a plot to overthrow Mengsk and keep the Protoss occupied -- that was pure fabrication. The Psi Cocoon on Aiur was another of the Combine's experiments and the Kel-Morian forces that arrived to harass you were just there to try to preserve their investment.
Mission 2-7
TRENCH
Mox and Gurney planned to take out the Combine, grab whatever technology that was used to create the cocoon, and return safely to a shiny new space station waiting in orbit over Aiur... THE MOST HEAVILY INFESTED WORLD IN THE KOPRULU SECTOR.
Mission 2-7
TRENCH
Heh, you don't actually think the two of them and their rag-tag group of yokels could actually help defend your province from the rest of the Zerg rampaging over the REST of the PLANET, do ya?
Mission 2-7
TURMALIS
...Continue.
Mission 2-7
TRENCH
The short and the long of it is that your Terran buddies wanted to use the Zerg much in the same way that the "fictional\" Combine wanted to, except they had no intention of striking at Korhal, oh no. From what I read in their classified files, they wanted to pose as Combine agents, hold small Dominion border worlds for ransom, and make away like billionaires. The real Combine would take the blame and get wiped out by Dominion forces, allowing Mox and Gurney to get a foothold in the mining industry, to boot.
Mission 2-7
TURMALIS
And what of Mox's banishment?
Mission 2-7
TRENCH
Gurney simply got too greedy. Mox was never told the full extent of Gurney's plans, especially the part about disguising themselves as the Combine. He was just a loose end to get rid of and they couldn't just whack him and his loyal followers without arousing too much suspicion from his new Protoss buddies.
Mission 2-7
TURMALIS
Us.
Mission 2-7
TRENCH
You got it, Chief.
Mission 2-7
TURMALIS
Gurney did not strike me as being the insidious and calculating leader you make him out to be. He seemed far too quiet and reserved to be the mastermind of such a grandiose scheme.
Mission 2-7
TRENCH
I hate to be trite, but it's always the quiet ones you have to watch out for. You'd be surprised at how many idiots there are in this galaxy that attempt crazy things like this on a daily basis -- and more surprised as to how many actually get away with it.
Mission 2-7
TURMALIS
Surprised? Hmph. Nothing has surprised me in a long, long time... but... I am now at a point in my life where I would actually have to agree.
Mission 2-7
TRENCH
So... whaddya plan to do?
Mission 2-7
TURMALIS
What CAN I do? My OWN people are mired in deceit and treachery.
Mission 2-7
TRENCH
Look. If you were bent on stopping a whole division of the Terran bureaucracy from annihilating the Terran throne world before, I don't see any reason why you can't stop a couple of charlatans from ruining the lives of half a billion people on half a dozen defenseless worlds now. It's all in a day's work. Ahem. Right?
Mission 2-7
TURMALIS
I... am... not so certain any more, Terran. My homeworld is in ashes... infested by Zerg. Two of my closest companions are dead. And others... others that I have respected and believed in with every ounce of my being... may be frauds and traitors.
Mission 2-7
TRENCH
Not to be Mr. Insensitive or anything but I'm picking up a lotta Protoss movement all of a sudden, heading for your position.
Mission 2-7
TURMALIS
And what of it? There is much to be done here. It is not unusual that there would be heightened activity among my people.
Mission 2-7
TRENCH
Yeah, well, THESE Protoss are coming from the underground tunnels surrounding your city. I kinda thought you guys were surface dwellers.
Mission 2-7
MOLOCH
Forgive me for interrupting, Judicator, but did I hear that correctly?
Mission 2-7
KHRILLIAN
Moloch! I have just received word -- several Corsairs in your personal squadron have been shot down by Dragoons and Templar emerging from the caverns!
Mission 2-7
MOLOCH
They are coming.
Mission 2-7
TURMALIS
Forgive me, Terran, if I do not jump at the chance to right every wrong your cohorts have perpetrated. I simply do not have the energy. Leave, or you may inadvertently stumble into the thick of a war you are unprepared to face.
Mission 2-7
TRENCH
All right. Fine. I can see that nothing I've said has meant anything to you. But I still expect those credits to be delivered.
Mission 2-7
TURMALIS
Go. NOW.
Mission 2-7
TRENCH
Have fun.
Mission 2-7
KHRILLIAN
Judicator -- our attackers are nearly upon us.
Mission 2-7
TURMALIS
Let them come. I am tired of fleeing. We will defend this city to the death... be it Protoss, Zerg, Terran or any other... we will not retreat... and we will not surrender.
Mission 2-7
ZEALOT
Doom to the Empire!
Mission 2-7
KHRILLIAN
Judicator... it appears that we have no Templar or Arbiters with which to combat the enemy. According to the local reports, Aldaris has called a legion away from here for some sort of meeting.
Mission 2-7
TURMALIS
Leaving us, as usual, to fend for ourselves. Never mind that now. Are your DARK Templar forces ready to stand with us?
Mission 2-7
KHRILLIAN
We are at your disposal.
Mission 2-7
TURMALIS
Then they will do just as well.
Mission 2-7
MOLOCH
Do not underestimate us, Judicator. We harbor powers even you do not suspect.
Mission 2-7
KHRILLIAN
They may prove useful, Judicator, for it appears we also have Zerg company.
Mission 2-7
KHRILLIAN
Judicator -- the enemy lines have been broken. We are safe... for now.
Mission 2-8
Turmalis
En Taro Adun... Executor. I must extend my deepest thanks to you for joining us, especially in the light of the recent attacks on our new home by what appeared to be our own brethren. Fortunately, the Citadel still stands, but it is uncertain whether these renegade Protoss will strike again.
Mission 2-8
Turmalis
However, I thought that we might benefit from your guidance, after your successful campaign in ridding old Antioch of the Psi Cocoon not long ago -- our current situation requires just as much... boldness.
Mission 2-8
Turmalis
Fate, as the Terrans put it, has dealt us quite the unexpected hand. We must deal with a pair of ""old friends,"" Executor -- although this time, you may not find them so friendly.
Mission 2-8
Gurney
I know it's hard to believe, Captain, but Mox isn't the man you used to know. He's... different. Lost sight of what it was like to be a ground- pounder. You know the feeling. You've seen your share of it. Anyway, I'm glad you're on our side.
Mission 2-8
Gurney
We should be reaching the Tornod Highlands in less than ten standard minutes. Rockwell?
Mission 2-8
Rockwell
We've picked up readings of a pretty heavy base under construction there. Looks like the local Jabronies have decided to help.
Mission 2-8
Gurney
Don't worry. They shouldn't be too much trouble...
Mission 2-8
GURNEY
All right, people. Sensors show a series of hydroelectric power generators along the main river that Mox's people are apparently using to keep most of their base running. We've gotta knock these out before we can start taking out more... interesting targets.
Mission 2-8
GURNEY
Anyone gonna volunteer?
Mission 2-8
ROCKWELL
You damn right, you roo-dee-poo candy ass.
Mission 2-8
GURNEY
Hey, watch it!
Mission 2-8
ROCKWELL
Yeah, all right, Jabroni. You can talk all you want, but when the Great One lays the smackdown on little Chuckie Mox -- you better believe that the millions -- and MILLIONS of Rockwell's fans are gonna smeeeeeelllllllll what Rockwell is cookin'!
Mission 2-8
GURNEY
Where the HELL did you learn to talk like that?
Mission 2-8
ROCKWELL
Rockwell saw it on TV once, Jabroni. C'mon, get your monkey asses in gear and let's move!
Mission 2-8
ROCKWELL
Rockwell's in position. You ready, men?
Mission 2-8
SIEGE TANK
Yes sir!
Mission 2-8
ROCKWELL
Open fire!
Mission 2-8
SIEGE TANK
Da dadadaaaah dah, da dadadaaaah daow!
Mission 2-8
ROCKWELL
Rockwell just laid the smackdown on those power generators, if ya smell what Rockwell is COOKIN'!
Mission 2-8
GURNEY
All right. Get back to base.
Mission 2-8
ROCKWELL
Copy that, Jabroni.
Mission 2-8
ADJUTANT
Be advised, Captain. I've picked up several dozen Protoss warships descending upon our defensive perimeter.
Mission 2-8
GURNEY
Never mind that now. Mox and those Irish bugs are on the defensive. Time to hit 'em while they're still off-guard.
Mission 2-8
TURMALIS
Executor, you may do the honors.
Mission 2-8
MOX
What the hell's goin' on? Why are we losin' power left and right?
Mission 2-8
MARINE
Looks like they took out the hydro generators, sir.
Mission 2-8
CIVILIAN
The hydro generators!? Aww, man! What the hell are we gonna do now? We're doomed for sure! Awww, I shoulda said goodbye to my Maw!
Mission 2-8
MOX
First things first, will someone shut him up?
Mission 2-8
MARINE
I'd be happy to, sir.
Mission 2-8
ANDUIN
WOW! I didn't see THAT coming!
Mission 2-8
MOX
Listen. We've got reinforcements on the way from Bora Dalis. They just radioed in -- but it's gonna take 'em about ten minutes to get here. Everybody -- bunker in, and hold onto your butts.
Mission 2-8
CIVILIAN
Hey, sir? What about me? I wanna see the battle! I wanna make somethin' of myself, be of some USE to somebody!
Mission 2-8
MOX
All right. Private, let him help you with your equipment check.
Mission 2-8
MARINE
Heh heh ha hah! Heads up!
Mission 2-8
TRENCH
Mox? You there? Come in. This is Aster.
Mission 2-8
MOX
Well, it's about time, mate.
Mission 2-8
TRENCH
You've got some company, boy. Couple of old friends of yours -- but they're not here for the reasons you might think they are.
Mission 2-8
TURMALIS
Commander... I believe you have some explaining to do.
Mission 2-8
MOX
Oh... crap. Uhh, heh, I guess I wasn't TOTALLY forthcoming with all the details...
Mission 2-8
TRENCH
HE's got a gift for understatement.
Mission 2-8
MOX
So, uhh... what happens now?
Mission 2-8
GURNEY
Just leave him to me, and I'll take him off your hands.
Mission 2-8
TURMALIS
No... As you might say, that would be... "Too easy.
Mission 2-8
MARINE
Uhh...
Mission 2-8
CORSAIR
It is a good day to die.
Mission 2-8
GURNEY
Aw, man! I hope not...
Mission 2-8
TURMALIS
Now, would you like to come along peacefully, Commander? Or shall I have an entire FLEET escort you to New Antioch as well?
Mission 2-8
MOX
Uhh... no worries, mate... no worries.
Mission 2-9
Turmalis
Executor, your assistance in this matter has been greatly appreciated. The matter of the Terrans' sentencing is yet to be determined, but I am confident that your council will come to a satisfactory decision.
Mission 2-9
Khrillian
Pardon the interruption, Judicator, but there is something Moloch wishes to discuss with you.
Mission 2-9
Turmalis
Never a dull moment.
Mission 2-9
TURMALIS
You summoned me?
Mission 2-9
MOLOCH
Quiet -- I am listening.
Mission 2-9
TURMALIS
What is the meaning of this?
Mission 2-9
KHRILLIAN
He has stood here in this manner now for ten minutes straight.
Mission 2-9
MOLOCH
It's down there.
Mission 2-9
KHRILLIAN
What?
Mission 2-9
MOLOCH
The Cerebrate.
Mission 2-9
TURMALIS
You cannot mean --
Mission 2-9
MOLOCH
The same Cerebrate I killed with my own blades on Aiur. And it is not alone.
Mission 2-9
KHRILLIAN
More Zerg?
Mission 2-9
MOLOCH
No... more Protoss.
